Ritz is a great property and well worth the dough. Bartender is about as lively as a piece of cardboard. Not sure what happened the gal with the dust and urine but these guys are on their game.
No food at the bar in the morning and you have to go downstairs to the restaurant. Not cool for people working. Need some bigger selections at the bar in the AM. How about some european breakfast?

URINE ON THE TOILET SEAT AND DUST EVERYWHERE

When you hear the name Ritz Carlton, you automatically think upscale, 5 star hotel, right?
If I'm not mistaken, the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del RAy is rated one of the top 10 best hotels in the WORLD.
So, how is it that the Ritz in Vegas lowerd its standards? Truth be told, the clientele there was mostly middle class people, but one still expects Ritz high standards.
The service was slow. The staff was not in a hurry to accomodate us. Once we got to our room, the view was terrible, but the worst thing I EVER experienced in any hotel was the fact that the room was not cleaned when we went in. There was dust everywhere, and are you ready for this? THERE WAS URINE ON THE TOILET SEAT!!! Yes, you read correctly! This in a 4 1/2-5 star hotel. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Disgusted and horrified, we called the front desk to explain the situation and their response was that we can change rooms if we wanted to. I could not believe that they were not as shocked as I was and most of all apologetic. We did end up with another room with a better view, because I was very vocal, but I still can't believe that a hotel of such caliber can have such problems. Who ever is in charge of hiring help should be fired. The manager should be replaced or retrained on how to find suitable help that won't embarass Ritz.

- Cons: Since the patrons are not upper crust, good service is not their priority/below average

Great service, comfortable rooms, beautiful view. Worth every penny. Nice spa. Not great for families. Go for a guys/girls weekend out
