Good for groups small or large. I recently hosted an event at this restaurant for almost 15 people and have only good news to report. The food and the service were great and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. You may sit outside and enjoy a lovely view of the Bellagio fountains or inside in the french style dining room that was just adorable. Our resvervation was honored promptly and teh service was great from begining to end. Everyone enjoyed the food especially the superb onion soup and steak frittes. The salmon and orzo was also quite tasty. I woudl recommend this restaurant for a resonably priced meal on the strip for two or for 10.
Fabulous food, cocktails and service!. This was definitely the best meal we ate while in Vegas. The food was wonderful and so was the service, but thankfully it also wasn't uptight like some more expensive places. Appletinis are wonderful here, and so are the steaks. The filets were so tender and had such a wonderful flavor. I completely recommend the bread pudding for dessert. It is absolutely to die for--even better than the creme brulee! Come early if you want to sit on the patio so you can watch the fountains at the Bellagio, they even put heaters outside when it's a little on the cold side.
Best Steak in Vegas. We were referred to Mon Ami Gabi by friends and it was the best meal we had during our 4 night stay in Vegas. We all had different selections of steaks with frites (decadent french fries), great Martinis and wish we had eaten there all 4 nights. We had another steak dinner at twice the price and was nowhere near as good. The atmosphere is just like a french bistro.
I would eat here every day!. We enjoyed a perfect lunch on the patio. Service was excellent, the onion soup- oh my! The seafood crepe, the finest. Everything was delicious, nicely served and what an enjoyable patio it is!
Good Location BUT NOTHING ELSE!. I came for a conference and learned the hard way; I will never stay at this hotel again. It is time to upgrade and remodel. Unfortunately, the rooms are dark and outdated; the furniture is from the late 1960's or early 70's. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced too. The mattress and pillows need updating also, the beds did not have comforters. The hallways are dark and dingy. If you like old and don't mind putting up with less ambience, this hotel is for you. I would compare this hotel to a Motel 6. The only good thing is that it is connected to the Paris Hotel and across the street from Bellagio and Caesar's. I highly recommended staying at any of the above mentioned hotels. Do not stay at this hotel unless you like a rustic environment. Pay the extra money, stay at another hotel.
Worst steak frites of my life. I never suspected that steak frites could be so bad. My steak was grey and overcooked. The fries weren't fries at all, but rather fried potato strips that looked like they should come in a can. This place pumps out thousands of plates/day. How could it be good with such volume?
prime location. This hotel is right in the middle of the strip. Close to everything. Next door is Paris and across the street is Bellagio. The rooms are big and the views are good. The entrance to the lobby is kind of weird. You take this moving walkway. It's part of the Harrah's group so you know it's a quality hotel.
Can't get much better for the price.... My husband and I decided to stay at Bally's on our recent trip to Las Vegas. We loved the location as it was close to everything on the strip. We ended up upgrading our room once we arrived (the woman that checked us in was very nice) so we were in a suite. It had an awesome view of the strip, a huge jacuzzi tub, enormous bathroom area and oversized shower with steam shower included. We paid only $159 for it which was a killer deal. While we were there we ordered room service a couple times. The breakfast that we got was actually pretty cheap for room service and it was better than any breakfast we'd ever gotten even at the fancier hotels we've stayed at. Great portions and fast service. My husband's parents were in Vegas at the same time and stayed at the Four Seasons. I thought our room was bigger and better than theirs! It may not have been quite as updated as theirs but it didn't feel dirty or anything. We didn't spend much time in the casino but it seemed about the same as any of the others we walked through. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Vegas, we didn't want to leave!
The best French brasserie in Vegas.
We love French bistros and Mon Ami is by far the best and most economical in Vegas. They know how to cook steak perfectly, their salads are fresh and lightly dressed, and their wine list is impeccable.
But most of all, their staff is well trained and attentive. The catering/wedding manager especially, Drew, is the top of the line in customer service.
We will always go back here (but we will also try Daniel Bolud's). Best, Z
Decent Food, Great View from Patio. First things first. The Patio is the best place to sit but the dining area has views of the Bellagio fountain as well. You have to reserve patio seating in person. This restaurant ONLY hires stupid, rude hostesses. In all the years of eating at this restaurant, the hostesses have all been idiots. The wait staff luckily has always been professional and good. The food is pricey but it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Even the coffee is good here.
