Not the same as L&L in Hawaii.
Food cooking and preparation tastes and feels like a chain restaurant. Which is what it is. Very disappointed in the quality of food and service compared to what I experienced in Hawaii. Maybe it was the tropical climate in Hawaii, but the L&L here felt like just another fast food restaurant. Average not good.

Yummy!.
L & L's is a great place to go and have some Hawaiian BBQ. The service is good and fast. The location is great. (Right across from the Galleria mall.) I would recommend trying the Char Sui. The only bad thing is that they only have one highchair, so if you have a bay you might want to bring in the stroller.

A little bit of Hawaii in the desert.
Hawaiian style plate lunches (two scoops rice, one scoop macaroni salad & one meat, chicken, fish or pork dish). Believe or not they even have an Atkins version of the plate lunch, minus the rice and macaroni salad, of course. In Hawaii, the Chicken Katsu plate is the top seller along with the barbeque chicken. For meat lovers, try the barbeque mix, it comes with barbeque meat, barbeque chicken and barbeque short ribs.
