What People Are Saying About Paymon's Mediterranean Cafe

In Short – Restaurant, market and hookah lounge--Paymon's single kitchen caters to these three adjoining establishments. Inside the restaurant, families enjoy prompt service, a quiet atmosphere and charming Persian decor like gold-framed paintings and intricate carpeting. There's also an exotic patio with water fountains and hanging plants. The menu features Greek and Middle Eastern fare such as fluffy pita bread and tangy hummus, falafel, seasoned Athens fries and sweet, honeyed baklava.
Editor's Tips
- Save Money:
- At the hookah lounge, the first bowl of tobacco is $15, but the second is $12.
- Parking:
- There is ample free parking available in the surrounding strip-mall lot.
- What to Drink:
- Specialty drinks are sweet and strong. Try the Genie's Naval, a sugary concoction of peach liqueur, orange and cranberry juices. Also, strong Turkish coffee and more than 50 teas are available..
BEST HOOKAH! Awesome food & atmosphere!

My best girlfriends and I go to Paymon's for Happy Hour and to smoke Hookah almost every Tuesday! The food is always super fresh, the service staff is wonderful (we will miss Brian from Colorado!), and we always have a great time! Great restaurant with multiple locations! Try the blackberry jasmine in your hooooookah!
- Pros: Food, atmosphere
MEDIOCRE IN EVERY WAY
by KaotikDreamer633 at Citysearch
They pack the tobacco too tightly so that your hookah does not last long enough(it
should last an hour if done right) and get upset when you let them know.
The food is quite bad, french fries with curry powder, cold gyros, the kebabs are quite
small and the sides bland. This restaurant basically just tries to push a generic,
unauthentic taste of the Middle East. The food is too Americanized...
- Pros: The place looks nice
- Cons: The food and service
Best Mediterranean in Vegas

We live in Las Vegas and love Paymon's. The menu is so eclectic. Sometimes, my husband is in the mood for falafels and I can have a great eggplant parmigian! Everything I've had tastes really good. They have a lentil soup which is a great starter (we share ours)....the portions are fairly large and can be shared by 2 people. We love the falafel pitas, the eggplant parmigian, the lentil soup, all the salads and of course the Athens fries. The prices are fair (especially considering the portion sizes).
The waitstaff are very pleasant and they go out of their way to help the customers out. I would recommend anyone who wants good, wholesome food to give Paymon's a try.
- Pros: Good food and service
- Cons: None I can think of
Best Lentil Soup Ever.

My husband and I think of Paymon's as our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The vibe is always nice and laid-back, service is great and always friendly, and the enclosed courtyard is a nice and sunny place to grab lunch. Every time we go for lunch, the place is packed... a great indicator of their quality. We are both in love with the lentil soup, but my husband is a huge fan of the chicken parm, as well, and as stated in another review, the Athens fries are ridiculously good. I definitely recommend it!
RE: Spicebazaar ...THANKS PAYMONS.

I go to Paymons Restaurant very often, the food is like homemade and the service is great but I didn't know they also sold spices on line. My wife, she is American, ordered the SPICE BAZAAR JERICHO FALAFEL SPICE, it was awesome. It was like my mom's. It brough back a lot of memories from the good old times back home. THANKS PAYMONS.
This is where she ordered it from: spicebazaar
