In Short – Founded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Pharmacy not on top of things

Dropped off a script (I usually go to another Walgreens) and it took them 3 days to tell me why it wasn't ready: supposedly, they were calling my doctor and waiting to be called back. How aout calling the other Walgreens where I've been getting the SAME medication for over 2 years? Nope! They don't "really" work together (no details forthcoming...). My doctor (3 different people there) said they called once, on the service and when they called back, the pharmacy wouldn't answer their phone! Pharmacy said they called once a day. Still not enough, but not true anyway... And we're talking about a LIFE SAVING medication, here! They don't care that I just lost 4 days of work! Go to another Walgreens if you really need your meds sooner than 3-4 days! (They make mistakes on my fiance's meds as well...)
