Good restaurant, doesn't live up to hype. I went for the chef's tasting menu with matching wine pairings at Lutece and I would consider the overall meal good but I was expecting great. The flavors and preparation didn't live up to my expectations - some things were a bit bland and one of the meat courses was not served at the right temperature. Additionally, the wine pairings were not great and our server often seemed to have more recommendations than knowledge.

Overall, I can't say I would return to this incarnation of Lutece and with the small crowd that was there I can' say I expect it to be around too much longer. We'll see...

Over he Top!!!!. This is the BEST restaurant in Vegas! Their chef's menu has always been great. Our service has always been above and beyond. My hat is off to the Chef for his unique food combinations and unique presentations. It is my husbands favorite romantic spot; for that special evening in Vegas.

Very disappointed with Lutece experience.. Although the food was very good, my overall experience at Lutece was very disappointing. Our server was slow and inattentive and even forgot to enter an entree that one of my guests ordered. When we complained to the manager about our service he became defensive and told us that we obviously didn't understand fine dining and service in Las Vegas! With the dozens of great restaurants in this town you could certainly make a better choice to spend your evening (and money).

Trendy crowds, modern French cuisine and minimalist decor make this restaurant shine on the Strip.. In Short
Ultramodern decor uses stark contrasts of woods, blacks and whites in pure geometric minimalist forms. The environment is almost sterile, yet progressively stylish--the futuristic design provides an interesting backdrop. A mix of yuppies and tourists mingle in the crowded dining room. The menu ranges from yellowfin tuna mille feuille with cilantro and argan oil to rack of lamb with vegetables Tian, mango and porcini fricassee. Desserts include blueberry Chaud Froid.

Ate many better meals for the same $$$$. Being a foodie from San Francisco, I enjoy fine dining & am willing to pay for excellent food & service. The food presentation was excellent, however it lacked in taste. The foie gras terrine was fantastic (no seared foie gras as indicated on the online menu). The duck entree was pretty but flavorless. The chocolate souffle was doughy and chewy, not tall with crisp edges.

The service was good but inconsistent. The busboy didn't explain what type of tapenade was served w/the bread, almost removed my starter before I was finished eating and didn't keep the water glass filled. There was no break between courses, in fact, the main course was ready before I finished my starter. The server requested the wrong dessert so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the correct one. After that mistake, the dessert charge was not removed from my bill.

Innovative. Lutece is wonderful. We didn't have reservations, but still managed to get a table. The food is exceptional and innovative. The artichoke salad was fanastic. Interesting- was the seared foie gras- which came with a chocolate sauce and, if I recall correctly, manadrin orange segments- different. A little hesitant at first, but it was oh-so delicious! It is a must-try/have for any foie gras connoisseur who wants to try something different.

Pathetic. I am a New Yorker who is familiar with Lutece. I was extremely disappointed with the caliber of the service, which made everything else terrible. One should not have to wait to be seated despite having reservations and one should not have to wait for the wine list. The service truly made the experience horrendous.

A gem from New York. The foie gras "signature dish." sauced with chocolate and orange marmalade, is truly remarkable. Try the Dover sole, with a wonderful light brown sauce, dressed with spinach and a tender young carrot and potato. The extensive wine list includes very good wines by the glass at reasonable prices. The service is more than excellent. The modern decor adds to the diners' pleasure.
