Finally what I want.
I've received flowers a few times from my boyfriend from here and they've always been really nice, but when we got engaged I wanted to go to a "specialized" florist that only did wedding flowers. The few places I tried first basically told me what I wanted, rather than listening to what I was telling them. Finally I decided to try this place since they've always done such beautiful bouquets for my work and low and behold, they were the first to actually listen! A woman named Gosha (not sure on spelling) helped me pick out my flowers, got me a great price, and was very helpful.
Funny thing is a week later I found out that one of my best friends who got married in March (who had some of the most beautiful wedding flowers I've ever seen) also got her flowers from here. That definitely told me I went to the right place.
Just make sure to call them first for directions, because they're kind of in a small shopping center in the way back. Hard to find if you're prone to get lost like me.
Disappointed Bride. The flowers that I received for my wedding were of poor quality and died within just a few days even though I cut the bottoms of the stems and added “flower fresh” to keep them. I went to the shop on 3 different occasions just to make sure that every thing was running smoothly and to assure that I received what I ordered. The day of my wedding the flowers were delivered on time as promised. Unfortunately what was delivered was not what I had envisioned or discussed with the designer. Of the 2 wrist corsages that were ordered for the mother’s both were to have had 2 roses, one of the corsages only had one rose (now choose which mother gets the 2 roses). Secondly, I had ordered 4 women’s corsages they all looked like boutonniere’s not one had a bow, I was mortified. And lastly, the centerpieces that I ordered were to contain 3 Gerber daisies placed inside ivy in galvanized pails (which I provided the pails and ribbon) came in fern and filler plant. Needless to say cheaper is not always better. My suggestion is to ask for recent bride references and ask to see recent photos of their end product from the year 2009 not from the years 2005 and 2007.
