Sometime a chain restaurant get is right.
This is one of our favorite northern Italian restaurants. Each room is tastefully decorated and service is impeccable. We were seated with a view of the outside patio. In addition to the regular menu, Il Fornio offers specials from a rotating list of regions. We ordered wine and soup (minestrone) from this months Umberto regional menu. My wife once again ordered Cappellaci di zucca, housemade butternut squash ravioli with walnuts in a brown sugar, Parmesan and sage cream sauce. I ordered suprema di pollo - chicken breast topped with portabella mushrooms, fontina and white wine sauce and accompanied by roasted potatoes potato and sauteed spinach. Excellent food, excellent service.
