Regular Customer!. I actually really love coming to Tokyoto when i'm craving sushi! It's conveniently near my area, and it's definitely NOT bad-tasting sushi. Every sushi joint is going to make their sushi differently of course, and i find this place to be extremely satisfying. And also, maybe not ALL the owners/chefs are Japanese, but all the times i've been there (which is quite a few), the sushi has been great. Some people may believe that other ethnicities are not qualified to make sushi... but i would definitely disagree. I don't see any problem with Tokyoto and i would recommend it to anyone!

This ain't no sushi. I'm Japanese (not Japanese American), and I'm alway in search for some good authentic Japanese food, and this is MOST DEFINITELY not it. This place was recommended to me by a (non-Japanese) friend. First of all, chef/owners are not Japanese. Now, I don't hold that against anyone if the food is good/authentic. Sushi was horrid. Rice was not a proper sushi-rice (it has to be properly flavored), and it was too tightly squeezed with too little rice. Sushi is an art form beyond food, and this joker completely butchered it. I felt that my culture was grossly misrepresented and insulted by someone who knows very little about sushi. Fish+rice does NOT equal sushi, and what I had there certainly was not it.
