We have gone to Forte family practice for over 15 years, saw Dr Marie Gempis, she is gone. I always knew Dr Dana Forte was a $$ Grubbing Business woman first. However we liked Dr. Gempis... Crystal at the Rainbow office is awful!!! Rude, Disrespectful, and Unprofessional. Beware of this LOL Family $$ Grubbing Practice
Awful awful awful! Everyone was remarkably rude here- front desk, nurses, doctors, everyone! On top of that, wait times are ridiculous and the staff are completely inattentive. I went in to get my birth control switched and the doctor wrote me a prescription for the same exact birth control with only three refills! I paid money for service like that?!
Worse place I've ever seen. You people let my sister sit there with extremely high blood pressure, a heart rate of 109 and hard time breathing. she sat there an hour before you even registered her. She was in your office 3 hours and she's a regular patient of Dr. Bertoli's. I know your staff does not care about people I have sat there for over an hour and a half waiting for that same Dr. She could have been having a heart attack or stroke. Do you people care NO.I hope your never in that same situation to see how it feels. I am going to look around to see if i can find another Dr. You people are rediculous.
Front Desk Challenged. Moved to Las Vegas in October and found medical scheduling much different than what I was used to. Decided on Forte Family Practice off of West Cheyenne based on their hours and ease of access. Using just these two factors proved to be a huge mistake. Although DO Korcal has given me good service, the front desk personnel are McDonalds rejects. Scheduling appointments is a feat...getting any type of reliable communication is impossible. After getting the appointment for diagnostic testing in-house, I waited for over an hour without service and was given the reason of "we are a high volume" provider. Been waiting for a referral for months but "she" is always out. Not sure who she is. I did get copies of my records at 60 cents per page...a small price to pay to leave this practice. My leaving is just my way of helping "them" reduce their "high volume" of patients. Buyer beware...you deserve better.
WORST OFFICE STAFF EVER!!.
I have been a patient of Dr. Forte's for years. Her office staff is the worst. I have tried to get my medical records from a car accident, my chiropractor has tried and my lawyer handling my case has tried. NO RECORDSHave BEEN SENT. This has been going on since July. I have left messages, faxed, and talked to the office manager Angela and still NO HELP. I have been left on hold, been told they will call me back, and just about been given every excuse in the book.
If you want professionalism, this is not the place to go. My next step is to the Medical Board.
Horrible Staff. I have been a patient at this office for years. When I first started going, they had a horrible office and even worse staff. When they changed locations to their new facility, it got better for a while but it has rapidly declined again. Doctors will not call back (I'd be surprised if then even get the messages) and if you try to get refills on medications, they make you come in each and every time. Worst customer service from a Doctors office in town. Stay away.
Las Vegas Worst Medical Office. I have tried over six times to get my medical records form his place. I have been told I would have to pay to get them. The staff informed me it was the Nevada state law that they could charge me for them. I informed them that I was a long term client but they said they had the right to charge me. When I said that I would change doctors after 5 years of being their client they read the law back to me and hung up. THIS is the absolute worst office and staff in Las Vegas. The staff feels they are more important then the doctors. Do not ever ask your doctor to call you back because he will not. i have asked Dr. Dana Forte to call me on several occations but she will not respond.. Great customer service Forte. You have just lost 2 more clients.
Too rushed. My first visit was rushed. The front office was rude(not only to me but amongst themselves)!the dr. Spoke really fast and gave me all but 5 minutes!the nurse was rude too!
One of the worst medical facilities I've ever visited. The front office staff and administrative people here are incompetent and could care less about you. This facility has policies that have a negative impact on patients. First, I would like to point out that I really like my doctor and if it wasn't for that I would never step foot in this facility. I'm not sure how much more I'll endure. On one of my first visits here, an appointment was made for me at an incorrect facility. Of course I didn't find out until I arrived at the Cheyenne facility. For all of you "softees" that think oh well, they made a little mistake. They sure did. I did not have time to go to the other facility and subsequently go to work. This was not just a little inconvenience. It was a major one for me. At the first of the year you are required to provide proof of insurance again and update your records. That's great, and something they should be doing. However, after waiting for an hour to get my driver's license back I went to the counter and had to ask for it. With identify theft rampant in this town, this makes you a little nervous. A young man reluctantly gave it back and acted as though I was bothering him. Tell me, how difficult is it, to make a copy and put it in your file? If you can't multi-task, get the hell out. Last, but not least, DON'T EVER EXPECT TO HAVE A PRESCRIPTION REFILLED by asking your pharmacy to fax a request over. It took 6 days, four fax requests from the pharmacy, two calls to this office, three more calls to the pharmacy only to find out that they would NOT fill the prescription. I had to take off work early and physically appear in person to obtain a new prescription for medication I've been taking for years, and will probably always have to take. This facility will tell you that they do NOT accept fax requests for prescriptions. I've never heard of such nonsense. So, if you have a serious condition, please don't depend on your pharmacy working with the facility to fill your prescription. It won't happen. I honestly believe you could expire before this office will help you. This prescription policy is a "policy" I've never seen before at any other doctor's office before in my life. Wouldn't you think that after four fax requests the office would phone the patient and advise them the prescription will not be filled? I guess obligation to the patient is just too much for this office to handle. My pharmacy, by the way, has never heard of a doctor's office not accepting fax requests, even though the people in this office claim that has always been their policy. Enough is enough. CLEAN HOUSE. GET RID OF THE INCOMPETENT AND ARROGANT EMPLOYEES WITH NO PEOPLE SKILLS. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE. DEVELOP A PROACTIVE APPROACH TO PROBLEM SOLVING. BECOME PATIENT FRIENDLY AS OPPOSED TO PISSING SO MANY PEOPLE OFF. All you have to do is look at these postings and on other similar sites. This many people can't possibly be wrong.
Love my doctor but have to change. I followed my doctor when he moved to Forte Family Practice and unfortunately I will be looking for another primary care physician because I refuse to deal with the incompetency and rudeness of the staff there. They can not seem to provide the type of receipt needed to submit claims to our Flex-Ben. They are so rude it is utterly amazing. They would be fired at any other practice I have been to for the way they talk to people. They will not fax or call in prescriptions and they will not answer faxes from pharmacies. There was a question on one of my refills and the pharmacist tried calling them. The nurse did not call the pharmacist back, she called my home and left a message on my answering machine. I can't give instructions to a pharmacist on dosage, they have to hear from the doctor's office. The wait in the waiting room rivals that of an ER. Like I said, love my doctor but have to find another one because of the incompetence of the office staff. Sorry.
