Great Food, Integrity, and Always a Smile.
This is the type of place I go when I want to impress someone with the overall dining experience. I have tried the expensive places and they just cant keep up.
I lost a pair of Oakley sunglasses about 3 weeks ago and it turns out I left them there. These sunglasses were given to me by my brother and so to me were priceless. I returned to Super MEX and inquired about the sunglasses and the staff went to the back and promptly returned with my $200.00 sunglasses.
As far as the food goes, it can't be beat. I get fresh chips with salsa and beans upon my arrival. I never really know what to order so if things were left up to me I would order the same things over and over again. I just have to tell the waiter or waitress what I am in the mood for and I get 2-3 great recommendations to choose from. Not once in over a year have they been off the mark.
So anyone who is looking for a wonderful dining experience with staff that in my opinion cannot be topped give this place a try.
I think you'll be back, I am about twice a week.
The Best. This is our families favorite Sit Down Mexican Restaurant. The food is great, we have always had very good service, prices are very reasonable and the chips and salsa are perfect! They have also prepared, for us, things that are not noted on the menu. We Love Super Mex!
Best Mexican Food In Las Vegas, Arizona and California. This place has the best mexican food, best service and best prices of all the mexican restaurants that i've been to in las vegas and even arizona and california too. (they have more locations in california but i don't think any in AZ)
Surprised!. This place was suggested to my husband and I (from LA) by the guy at the DMV. We didn't figure we'd like it because, like I said, we ARE from LA. But we went because it was close to home. We dug it!!! Great salsa, taquitos, ad my husband always goes for those wet beef burritos in red-chili sauce...it was really TASTY!! Tender beef and the sauce was as good as it gets. Now, I am hungry.
Not so good anymore....
Bad news! The food changed. The rice is blah and the taco shells um (shrug)
The sauce now has to much sweet tomatoe taste.
The bar tenders don't know how to make a Margarita the proper way. Four tries and all bad.
Guess these things happen when they don't pay the employee people enough to stay working.
This place was the real thing, last year at this time. (sad face)
Authentic. I went to SuperMex for the first time a couple weeks ago and i thought it was great. The food was very authentic, it tasted like the food I grew up eating. The only bad thing was that it was packed and the beans were a little salty.
Mexican at it's Super worst..
This overpriced attempt at mexican food fails miserably. Way overpriced, a bar that smells like something died in it...and a manager who cares nothing about his customers.
If you want good Mexican food, go down the street next to the park, or anywhere else...this place sucks.
Worst cust. service in town.. My husband and I used to go there almost everyday, but I have to say they changed a lot. The food is bad, the customer service is extremately bad and rude waiters, very expensive and the manager or owner is a person who doesn't care is having a costumer satisfy. I fyou want good mexican food, go to Faustos!!! Its not like a sit down restaurant but the food is great.
