Excellent Food Every time!.
We go to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year and usually stay at the MGM. The food at Pearl is wonderful! We can recommend for an appetizer the Dungeness Crab Spring Rolls. The are light and delicious! The best ever is the Almond Chicken for an Entree'. Ohhhh, we dream of it when we come back home and can't wait to go back and eat it again! Also, we love the Shrimp and Pork Rice. It is so good. It is on the expensive side, but expect it for a wonderful meal! Amy

Lousy.
Save your money and don't go to this overpriced restaurant. If you want trashy food go to the trash bend, it's fresher and you know what you are getting and you don't have to pay for it it's free.........................

Top Asian Food, Great Venue, Location, Staff.
I have eaten at Pearl twice and both times have been great. The location is amazing, and the large water/wall in the right rear of the main room makes for a very cool place.
I had the spare rib appitizer both times, and it was great on both occasions. I had almond chicken one time and a salt and pepper beef dish the second. Both entrees were great.
A meal at Pearl could range from 40-100+ per person, but I think you will enjoy the experience, check out the menu beforehand.

Highly Recommended....
Very, Very, Very good food. Great service. My parent are almost vegan. They were totally accomadating and overly nice. Service is great. Food is yummy. I recommend the Mongolian Chicken (not on menu) as well as some of the appetizers. Good Noodles.
All in All, a perfect restaurant

Great Food, weird serivce.
Stumbled on Pearl by accident, had no idea what we'd be getting into and were pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome - chicken salad and some kind of lettuce-wrap-like appetizer were unbelievably good, as was my sea bass special with some kind of saki sauce. Even the fried rice was light, and didn't seem at all fried.
The waiter seemed mostly confused and could not even discuss the wine, let alone recommend one. But we did get what we ordered : )
It was pricier than you'd expect for Chinese food. We paid $70 each, and only had one bottle of wine.

Less than mediocre food!.
My sister and dined at Pearl during our recent stay at the MGM Grand; we enjoy fine dining and if we are spending a bit more on food, we expect to get our money's worth. We felt cheated at Pearl! While the decor and ambience are inviting, they are offer false security that the food will be just as good. Not only were 2 of our 4 dishes incorrect (and had to be re-ordered), all 4 left much to be desired regarding taste and quality! The lo mein noodles were very greasy, the beef was fatty, and the chicken with vegetables dish was extrememly bland and the chicken was processed! We are not usually picky about our food; however, not using real quality chicken in their dishes is not acceptable considering the price we paid for them! You and your pocketbook will regret dining at the Pearl.

Delicious even if you don't like Chinese food!.
I went with a large group of people and even though some weren't huge fans of Chinese food - everyone thought the food was exceptional. It was very fresh, light, and flavorful and not greasy at all. All the dishes were perfect. Service was excellent and the waitstaff was very attentive. I would go back there again on my next trip to Vegas.

Chinese at it's BEST!!.
The service and friendliness of the staff as soon as we walked in to the time we left was so wonderful. I cannot compare the food as it was outstanding also. The best part is we were there with a large group - I cannot say enough good about it... we will stop in everytime we're at MGM Grand!

A rotating, seasonal menu features contemporary Chinese cuisine, like macadamia kung pao chicken and drunken spotted prawns.
