Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

When it comes to the best this place has it all from waffles to pancakes to omelettes or just a great glass of orange juice this place has it all. All food is made from scratch and definitely tastes that way. I would recommend this breakfast house to anyone!
Pros: Great all around!!!
Cons: Sometime there is a line, but I've come to except it for the great food.

The Original Pancake House is excellent! I have been there many times and each time I've had a very enjoyable experience. I personally like the blueberry pancakes or the dutch baby. For chocolate lovers I suggest the chocolate PACKED chocolate chip pancakes but there is a wide variety to choose from. And for those non-pancake lovers they also have many other breakfast plates. Once you eat here you will be hooked! Come hungry!
