Before "The Sopranos," this long-running off-Broadway show joyfully exploited the stereotype of the melodramatic Italian. In an interactive mock wedding, audience members can flirt with the sleazy caterer, dance with the bridesmaids or chat with a camcorder-wielding gay boyfriend. It's all make-believe. For the price of the ticket, patrons become paisanos and temporarily join another family.
