DISHONEST. I went to Desert Dental because they were able to see me immediately after I had chipped one of my back molars and needed it filed down so it wasn't sharp against my tongue. Let me just say BEWARE. In addition to the overall bad feeling I got, Dr. Benjamin and other staff were very pushy and tried to get me to do more work than I had requested. Fortunately, I was uncomfortable and insisted he only file down my chipped tooth. He told me I had several cavities, and even took me in back to show me my "cavities" with a little camera. I kept telling him to only file my chipped tooth because I was planning to see my usual dentist the following month and I'd have him do my routine cleaning and take care of any cavities I might have. He finally gave up. When I saw my regular dentist the following month, I told him about what happened and asked if I had any cavities. My dentist said my teeth were in perfect condition and he was glad I held my ground and didn't allow Dr. Benjamin to do the work he wanted to do. Desert Dental is not trustworthy and I think Dr. Benjamin is an unethical, dishonest dentist.
