Excellent Dental Experience. I totally disagree with the first review. My experience was quite the opposite. My experience was remarkably good. I had Dr. Rentz and the Dental Hygienist. I am a dental chicken. When the Hygienist cleaned my teeth, she already had gone over my chart and was prepared for my anxiety. Several months ago, I went to another dental office in the Valley with whom I was less than pleased. Dr. Rentz confirmed what I had suspected, that the other dentist prescribed dental work that I did not need. My insurance covered most of the treatment, but I was asked if I wanted a treatment considered "cosmetic" that was not covered BEFORE hand. So, no ugly surprises. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DURANGO DENTAL!…
Not Sure What Their Game Is. I went as a new patient and everything seemed fine until the dentist came in. He proceded to argue with me that I do not floss and brush my teeth consistently. I am not perfect but I do take care of my teeth and floss and brush 2 times a day! I told him that but he basically called me a liar!! I was kind of put out but thought maybe he knew better as a professional. I have NEVER had any other dentist say that to me, in fact I have been told I clean too much! So then came the shocker. He said I had the start of gum disease and proclaimed I was bleeding everywhere!! OK I think I would notice that myself and my gums are a healthy pink even now!! He recommended that I need this antibiotic placed deep into the tissue which would cost approx $900.00 then proceed to tell me its something insurance doesn't cover!!! $40 a tooth for the medicine!!! I couldn't get out of their fast enough and never made the appointment for the antibiotic treatment. Interestingly enough a few weeks later I got a call that they would give me a discount on the procedure!!!! What a crock! Be carefull of this place!…
