In Short – This place is for adventurers. It's affordable and fun for guests who want to save their cash for exciting activities, from sling shot thrill rides to big time bets in the casino. An abundance of attractions includes the Roni Josef International Salon & Spa, a wedding chapel, the Tower Shops at Stratosphere Mall and the Broadway Showroom's long-running "Viva Las Vegas" afternoons and "American Superstars" evenings. Dining options include the Top of The World restaurant.
Editor's Tips
- View:
- PROJECT X-SCREAM sends you 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere's observation deck nearly 900 feet above the Strip.
- The Extras:
- For screams, there is a roller coaster that winds around the top of the tower and a thrill ride that shoots riders up a tower at a rapid speed.
Affordable

Affordable but not too clean , the hotel is located on the strip and close to the downtown area , so you can easily go to fremont or go to the big strip .
Spy Camera in effect on Beach 25 Club topless pool

Beach 25 Club topless pool doesnt need a 700 power zoom camera for security. This is a spy camera! Stay away unless you want your pictures on the Internet.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!

When we finally arrived to the hotel around 2 am there was a line of atleast 25 people waiting to check-in. My husband and I waited for an hour and 15 minutes just to check in! Our room was clean but that was probably the only nice thing about staying at the Stratosphere. The concierges were rude and seemed annoyed that I would dare ask a question about the area. We were not told about any shows, restaurants, or attractions and even had to wait 25 minutes to check-out EVEN THOUGH there was 1 person ahead of us. The pool area is ok but I didn't dare step into the water because it had an oily film on the top and there were several loud children playing volleyball. LEAVE YOUR KIDS AT HOME--Vegas is a disgusting, sleazy place that is NOT a good environment for children. I suggest staying at another hotel and leave your kids home!
Fun place to stay at a great deal!

If you're looking for a fun place to stay with a lot to do within your own hotel, be close to the strip, and still be in a reasonable budget, this is the place to go! You've got to ride the roller coaster at the top of the tower, overlooking the whole strip. It's a great value, has clean rooms, and still manages to be a blast!
- Pros: Great value, a lot of fun
- Cons: Can be crazy at times (which can be FUN!)
A great stay

This is a great spot for folks going to Vegas for the action and fun. If you aren't going to spend much time in your room, or in your own hotel for that matter, you'll do well to plunk down less cash for a moderately comfortable and very clean room in this hotel. I'm looking forward to staying here again in a few weeks.
- Pros: VERY clean rooms, good late-night food
- Cons: Not very close to the strip
