GREAT Chapel and Staff
by AmieJoy at Citysearch
I found the Chapel online while trying to plan my wedding from the back country in West Virginia. The website and live chat was amazing!! I planned my whole wedding through chat with my wedding consultant Heidi. I got married 2 weeks ago and everything was just as we had planned. The day went by without a hitch! They are like a well oiled machine. Everything runs right on time but with a personal touch. My pics were amazing, cake was delicious and service was impecable. I would say if you are getting married in Vegas THIS chapel is a must!!!
I vote : #1 Chapel in Las Vegas

Mitch and I live in TEXAS ! We were married on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 .... (Victorian Chapel) ... Mitch's son got married the next day in a different Chapel. So (2) weddings for the Maurer family. We did so much research on all the Chapels in Vegas and decided on CHAPEL OF THE FLOWERS. On our day, we had to rush from the airport to get to our room to unload luggage... only to find out we couldn't check-in because the rooms weren't ready ... so had to grab a taxi to get our marriage license (good thing we completed the forms over the internet)....(highly recommend).... Got back, tried to unwind with slot machines until the room was ready. Got dressed, our limo was there on time...(check) got to the air conditioned Chapel (check) and talked w/ Rev Douglas Gilbert (excellent) comforting setting to relax before the ceremony (check) .... everything went smoothly, and Rev Gilbert's voice was relaxing and not rushed, which made me relaxed...(I think Mitch was more nervous than I). After the photo session, then we got our Limo ride back to Tropicana.... (with a switch of shoes)... we went and checked out the nightlife in Vegas ... (club hoping in our wedding clothes).... I totally enjoyed our video, even thou couldn't get Mitch to relax and smile.... our friends and family in TEXAS and all around, got to view our ceremony for (7) more days afterwards (check and highly recommend).... I didn't expect to have so many pictures to view the next day .... so grateful for the variety of shots she took of us....(check) It was difficult/ took us over an hour to figure which (14) to pick for our package /plus 1 extra for completing a survey ... we did find a few with Mitch smiling (lol)..... we got enlargements too .... I can't remember everyone's names (sorry).... But we were VERY pleased with our photos, minister, videos, flowers, ceremony package....our entire night was EXCELLENT there ! Thank you so much ..... (5 stars all the way) !

The best day of our lives at the Chapel of the Flowers
by EmmaReid at Citysearch
We were married on Wednesday 3rd August 2011 at the Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas and we can’t speak highly enough of the Chapel. We found the chapel on the internet and fell in love with it straightaway. We contacted the chapel and were put in touch with Archel (wedding planner). We spent the next 12 months emailing back and forth from England about what they offered and what we wanted. Archel was incredibly professional, polite, and efficient and never let us down. We didn’t feel pressured into adding more services to our package but was informed about everything they could provide. Archel put our minds at rest as we had never seen the chapel and wouldn’t until days before our wedding. When we arrived in Las Vegas from England we visited the chapel and finally met with Archel. As soon as we arrived we knew that we had made the right decision and our wedding was going to be the best day of our lives. The actual chapel and the grounds are much better than the wonderful photographs on their website. Archel took us on a tour of the chapel and ground and we even visited the flower shop and photo shop. When we saw the Victorian chapel I cried! It was perfect. We went away feeling amazing. On the day of the wedding the Limousine driver (George) collected my dad and I on time from our hotel and even helped me carry my long dress! When we arrived at the chapel our photographer was waiting for us to get out of the limousine and started taking the photographs. I was shown into the chapel and the photographer (Mike) explained how he was going to work. During the ceremony he made himself completely invisible and he and his colleague took the most beautiful wedding photographs I have ever seen. I was aware that there was a bride having her photographs taken in the grounds when I arrived and another bride and groom in the chapel before us, however, I was made to feel that I was the only one getting married that day and it certainly didn’t feel like we were waiting in line. I felt special and cared for by the staff. I met with the minister before the service and he put me at ease. The service took 10 minutes and it was amazing. The minister has us in tears with his beautiful words and vows but also laughing with joy. We had 20 guests from England with us and they were also full of emotions. We had the same number of people watching from England on the website in the middle of the night and they have all said it was the best wedding they had ever seen. Most people watched the service more than once! The minister (Al) really made the service extra special. He was serious when needed and funny when it was appropriate. The perfect balance and I will cherish the way he made us feel. After the service our photographs were taken and we were so pleased with the service we received from Mike. We went away with our unity candle, the DVD of the wedding and a message and rose which my father-in-law had arranged for us as sadly he couldn’t be there. We were then taken to our reception by George at the Platinum Hotel (which the chapel had arranged) and we were blown away. The location, the view of the strip, the presentation of the room, the service, the food and drink and the overall hotel was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t have asked for anymore. The following day we went back to the chapel to view our photographs and choose the 32 which were included in our package. However, they were so incredible we ended up buying all 446 photographs. We didn’t feel under any pressure to buy more but they were so amazing we just couldn’t leave them. Mike is a brilliant photographer and he made us look fantastic in the photographs. The day went just as we wanted and I really would urge anyone who is planning a Las Vegas wedding to hold theirs at the Chapel of the Flowers.

We couldn't have picked a better chapel!!! The entire experience was fantastic. We rented the Magnolia Chapel which holds about 20 people. It was in the middle of July (21st) in the middle of the day so I was nervous about my hair and makeup. The limo service was fantastic and the entire chapel was beautiful! The pastor who married us was great and asked questions about us to make the wedding feel like our own, not just a generic wedding. I think my favorite part though was the photography! Emil did a FANTASTIC job. We went into this just wanting to do something inexpensive, but once we saw all the photographs, we bought the CD with copy rights. I didn't care for the "suggested tips" --I rather have that included in the price to be honest.
My husband and I had the best day of our lives. We strongly suggest it!
Don't Waste your Money on Grand Canyon Wedding!
by upset bride at Citysearch
I chose Chapel of the Flowers because of their reputation. Now come to think of it, all the rave reviews are for their "quickie weddings" that flow like clock work for them. (No offense, I wish I went that route now!) Not for a $5,000 Grand Canyon wedding that takes much more planning and preparation which they failed miserably at. The only reason why we went to Las Vegas was to: get married at the Grand Canyon and have Chapel of the Flowers take care of our wedding from start to finish with no stress or worries for us. On our wedding day, the limo driver was late. He started taking us back to the Chapel instead of taking us to airport. Also, they forgot the two most important things that were suppose to be riding in the limo with us: Mike, our photographer and my bouquet! We had to go back to the Chapel to get them anyways. We missed our 1:30PM helicopter flight and had to have our flight rescheduled to 2:30PM. OK no big deal. Helicopter ride was awesome! My custom bouquet was what I asked for, simply beautiful! Our wedding was perfect. So, I was happy. We touch down in Vegas, there was no limo waiting for us. We were stranded at the airport for 30 minutes waiting for the limo. Mike (the photographer) was baffled as well. But he saved the day by taking photographs of us while we waited. He was cool so we tipped him well. All and all, happy for the most part. Then later that evening I get a called at 7:00PM from the Chapel "bad news there was no audio on your wedding video. We think the Minister accidentally turned the volume down instead of up. We can edit it- put subtitles and music." Basically, blah blah what's done is done there's nothing I can do for you. We watched the video... What a joke! It was like a movie from the 1920's. OK I just spent $5000 on my wedding and I received a video with no audio of our wedding vows. How upsetting. I'm still devastated to say at the least. I spoke to the owner. I knew he wasn't going to do anything nor did he care. This is a business and they're in it to make money! The owner kept saying that they forgot to collect the $250 for the Minister's fee from me so they will have to pay the Minister the $250 fee for me. I paid whatever was due in full! It's not my fault if they forgot to charge me $250 after the fact. Plus, why should I pay the Minister if it was his fault that we had no audio on our wedding video? I didn't get all bridezilla on them when I really wanted to! I don't have it in me since I work in the customer service industry and also own a business as well. Luckily, our photos came out beautifully in comparison to someone else’s Chapel of the Flowers wedding photos at the Grand Canyon. Thank you Mike for going above and beyond for our wedding photos! For all their SNAFU- all I got in return was $200. Is $200 enough for never being able to hear our wedding vows ever again?
