The dentist was great! I am a big kid when I'm at the dentist so I must be numbered a lot & he did that & so did the assistants!

Myra is a perfectionist, I was very pleased with her work. The first time I came in the assistant wasn't as good as her. I also like Dr. Houlton very much, they make a great team. I will be a patient from now on and I will recommend family and friends.

All these positive reviews sound like one-liners from the commercials. Wow. They must be employees posting out of fear. Unless your salary is affected by stocks, you'd benefit in the long-run if you found a better employer. Abbey Dental wasn't bad, but certainly not worthy of all this praise - or even a 96% approval for that matter. Feeling generous, they deserve like a 78-80% at best. I've had teeth extractions at Abbey Dental and another place my regular dentist recommended. One difference I noticed is Abbey Dental asked for the full amount UPFRONT before they had done any work (while I still had a toothache). I mean, if their low prices is somehow implying they have an ethic that's more about getting the work done and not money-centric, that message wasn't received in person. I paid around $340 for three extractions after insurance. My dentist's recommended guy costed roughly the same, except he would put me to sleep for the procedure, and he doesn't have an insanely crowded waiting room. For the anesthesia Abbey Dental gave, he would have knocked $100 off the price. The Abbey Dental dentist was also slightly rougher than I'm used to: he jabbed me with the needle like 11 times. He kept drilling and I kept feeling! My mouth was a pin cushion. After I walked out the door, I felt they had done a rough but good job, and even though I knew I overpaid, I was glad I had the procedure taken care. They were also professional enough to give me pain meds and gauze: walking in they could have had a restaurant that serves endangered species in the basement for all I know. One thing I really dislike is that they advertise dental implants for $325, but everytime I ask about them, they either change the subject or don't have an answer... I mean is that just a shady sales pitch to get people in the door? All in all they did an OK job but it wouldn't be hard to find a better dentist.

I went to Abbey Dental last week and I had a great experience because I saved A LOT of money! I am a single mother with a limited budget and I was able to save so much by going to see a dentist at Abbey. I did a lot of research and even though I had to wait for a long time, I would still go to Abbey Dental because of the savings. I don't understand the review below because I had a great experience with customer service; I was told upfront that there was going to be a wait so I was glad about that. Like I said bfore, you wait for a long time but you know what they say - good things come to those who wait! Good things means savings!! Thank you Abbey Dental for the money in my pocket that I wouldn't have had otherwise!
