TPT Attempt to Trash Best Vegas Restaurant View. Trumpets rocks the VIEW !

Some loser diners in the past obviously were trailer park trash (TPT) and couldn't get attention , but for attempting to post lame fake restaurant reviews about the best view restaurant in Vegas - Trumpets.

Get the F over it, WannaDiners. The only way this FIVE STAR ***** RESTAURANT could be improved is if the Stratosphere were ripped out of its ghetto-crack-whore location in one of the worst neighborhoods of Las Vegas and transported to the Trumpets location.

On the other hand, however, with the Strat you would be so far up in the air that you really could not get a proper perspective, and just might get Vertigo.

Final word...eat up at Trumpets, and get the View!

Bottom of the Vegas barrel. We have made 4 visits to Trumpets for brunch, lunch, and dinner, hoping that our poor experience was just a one-time thing - sadly, not so. The restaurant hypes the view as it is the only thing left to offer - the service is grudging (when you can find it), the food is mediocre to poor and served lukewarm, beverage refills cannot be had, they are "out" of most of the menu (before 7 pm??)and the customer is merely an inconvenience for the server's personal business and conversations.

The silverware had to be exchanged twice due to food particles, the carpet is not kept cleaned of food debris, and we actually saw a cucaracha making his escape from the kitchen along the window ledge.

Menu prices are unforgiveable for what this restaurant offers (when your choice is available). So many things have gone wrong here that I would never choose to "impress" someone by bringing them here - make another choice as there are terrific views elsewhere, far superior cuisine, and cleaner restaurants. The aggravation of dining here will take the romance out of a romantic evening in a hurry and leave your wallet lighter for the experience.

Don't Believe the Hype. Trumpets has one numerous "Best Of" awards here in Las Vegas, but has steadily declined over the past two years. On a recent visit, my party waited 15 minutes to be noticed by any employee on an evening when only one table was occupied. We had to ask several times for our water glasses to be refilled. The food was mediocre at best, and even though we were dining early in the evening they claimed to be "out" of certain dishes. Service was incredibly slow, and our waiter smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that one of my guests was offended by it. In a city famed for it's food, I felt embarassed by my choice of restaurant in front of my out-of-town guests. Anything on the Stripis better for entertaining.
