Tips for Supercuts

Totally pissed!!!. Worst experience EVER!! Went to get a haircut for me and my teenage son. One stylist was dealing with my son and a different one with me. The stylist asked me what I wanted done. I said I needed my hair trimmed not even an inch. She asked if it needed to be washed, so I said sure. She gets my hair wet then asks me is it ok to use Tea Tree shampoo (I thought she was asking because people have allergies or are sensitive--I am neither), I said ok and thought nothing more about it. She trims my hair which took maybe two minutes then asks me is it ok--I said yes. She then proceeds to take off the frock around my neck. I asked her wasn't she going to dry my hair, which was sopping wet--even after towel drying it due to my hair is extremely long. She said that costs extra... I have had my haircut on the eastside of town since 1997 at Supercuts and have never paid over 15.00 for a shampoo, cut and hairdry. This was a first for me, so I asked her how much thinking it couldn't be any more than five bucks.. She came back from looking at the price sheet and proceeded to tell me that my basic shampoo and cut was 14.95 but then any thing after that is ala carte, so drying my hair would be an extra 20.00. I said she was crazy that I would go home and do it myself. I rushed out of the chair to stop the other stylist from drying my son's hair. I repeated to my son's stylist (in front of my stylist I might add) what she just told me about the hair charges. Then my stylist said that no--the basic shampoo and haircut is not 14.95--it is 18.95 and then she brought up the tea tree shampoo thing. I asked her what did that have to do with the price of my haircut and she said it was two dollars extra. I told her I wasn't paying that, due to her not saying a damn thing about an extra charge for it and that if I had a tape recorder for every time I caught someone lying to me I'd be rich... I went to pay my bill and guess what?.. It was actually 18.00 per me and my son's haircut and we both walked out of there looking like drowned rats... This place SUCKS and I DID NOT give my stylist a tip for her lying to me and I will NEVER step foot in that place again. I think I'm gonna get my hair cut back on the east side where they are honest...
