BUYER BEWARE. My Mother was a resident of Willow Creeks Memory Unit for several months, suffering from Alzheimer's. Although we were quite pleased with our decision initially, recent events including severe dehydration have landed her in hospice care at another facility. The fact is we believe these conditions stemmed from staff oversights, a definite lack of communication with family regarding her medical conditions, and a subsequent general unwillingness to acknowledge their role - "stonewalling" - has left the family soured by the experience. As with any Memory Care service, BUYER BEWARE, and pay close, ongoing attention to your loved one's care. You might want to consider your options carefully when it comes to this facility.
