Editorial Review for The Bar at Times Square – by Ryan Slattery

In Short
This is a cocktail bar in the strictest sense of the term--there's no food here. With its worn wooden floorboards, small seating area and large open floor, this pub is about fun, conversation and loud (very loud) music. Situated in the middle of the action are two pianists who tickle the keys and play your requests. With an always high-energy crowd, songs can sometimes take a free-verse, raunchy tone.

Making a request? Grease that paper song slip with a greenback if you really want to hear it.

When to Go

Get there early. Seats are limited and the place really packs them in.

This is a great spot to relax and just have fun. I stayed in the hotel a while back and this bar always seemed to be going strong every time I passed by. The couple of times that we went in and joined the fun we had a blast!

Pros: price, music, crowd

I was in Vegas for two nights and I lost 100 dollars in 30 minutes before i could even drink 3 beers. So I figured that paying for the drinks would be cheaper. I went to the Bar at Times Square that night and had a freaking BLAST. The place was packed but after 10 minutes that became a plus. The music is AWESOME and fun to sing along too. Great looking people, reasonable prices (for Vegas) and the best time I've ever had at a bar. It was so great I was there from 10pm - 4am and went back the next night for the same thing. If you like a loud hard drinking screaming Bon Jovi songs time, GO HERE!

Pros: Music, people, drinks, fun, dancing (a little)

Cons: packed, there is a maximum capacity so you may wait a little while to get in
