In Short – Z Gallerie has gained popularity fast, expanding into a dozen states since its debut as a poster store in 1979. Though each store is vast, the ambience is that of a small, upscale furniture boutique. You'll find more than just furniture, though--browse through bedding, art, rugs, window coverings, tabletop accessories, lighting and more. It's a great place for gift shopping, but if you're having something shipped, be sure to give it enough time to arrive.

The store lists its return and credit policies clearly next to the front cash register. Read them. Customers may be surprised to find that anything priced with a $.99 ending is "deemed to be sale merchandise and cannot be exchanged or returned."
