36.093067 -115.177832surprisingly delicious. My husband and I lvoe a good steak and have been to many of the steakhouses in Vegas. One Sunday, on a bonus day (and you all know what that is, delay that flight one more time!) we swung into 3950 looking for somwhere cozy to have a nice meal without a lof of fuss. We sat at the the bar and had thirst quenching matinis and delicious steaks. I was so happy....the quality of the food was outstanding and we had a great time talking to the bartender and having our meal! I cannot wait to go back and have a proper sit down!
Accountant. I just had to write and say what a wonderful experience my husband and I had at 3950. My husband is very picky with steaks and he said his steak was the best he ever had. He's traveled all over the world and is a big meat eater, he thinks 3950's was outstanding. We wanted to thank the Chef I believe his name was Scott Carter and he was gracious enough to come out and greet us. Very pricey , but well worth it. We would recommend 3950 to anyone. My fish was superb too. We would pay this $$$ anytime there. Great Job Chef Scott
3950 One Of Las Vegas Best. My wife and had dinner here for the thrid time and I had to take time out to rate it... The food was great, we started with the Lump Crab appetizer and then selected our Dinner. I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Swordfish, both portions were huge with taste that has yet to be matched in Las Vegas. We've eaten at the Venetian and the Bellagio and found the food at 3950 unmatched. Joe Pignatello you were right, I had the New York at the Bellagio because the filet could not match the size of the filet at 3950. Scott McCarter you have tantalized our palettes all three visits and will be back. Thanks Steve Cashdollar for the recomendations on the wine and you and Glen Hechavarria did an outstanding jod with your sevice. Thanks for a Great dining experience all at 3950!!! Great job!!!
3950 isn't nifty. Went for our anniversary- what a mistake. Very over-priced! Food was awful.
Mixed taste.
Although dinner service was professional, our hostess who seated us was either clueless or rude. The 4 person booth which we were seated at has a table that turns to allow the customer to slide in comfortably without having to stradle or squeeze. She seated myself and my husband adjusting the table to us but neglected our friends who were with us. They then had to turn and adjust the table the other direction to seat themselves.
The steaks were hit and miss. 2 of our steaks were prepared correctly and taste was delicious. The other 2 were prepared incorrectly according to rare to well and one was mushy, bland. Side dishes accompany steaks cost extra but are very large. Each side is enough for 2 people.
Overall nothing really stood out as good or bad. I would not recommend this resturant to friends.
Top Notch & Elegant. The food is wonderful. Some of the very best steaks and seafood you'll find anywhere in Las Vegas. Chef Scott McCarter takes his food very seriously and the results show. Steaks will melt in your mouth and the seafood is prepared with such a classy touch! The service is superb and very attentive and you'll be made to feel at home. Wonderful wine list and really cool bar in case you have to wait or just want a cocktail. This place is a must if your looking for fine food and service! If it's available try the "Ahi Tuna" and the "Rack of Lamb is to die for".
