GHETTO FOOD. I CAN NOT BELIEVE I GAVE YOU A STAR. YUCK HORRIBLE EVERYTHING INCONSISTANT AND GET THE COOKS SOME GREEN CARS
EAT HERE NOW!. We chose Bootlegger Bistro as the venue for a small dinner reception following our wedding. I could not be happier with the entire experience. Our ceremony ran over and we didn't arrive at the restaurant until 30 minutes after our reservation. The staff was understanding and able to seat our party of 14 right away. (This was a Tuesday evening) We were given two servers and had an additional person constantly monitoring our water, and quickly removing plates. The service was outstanding - prompt, professional, and friendly. They cut the wedding cake we had delivered to the restaurant and our waiter even set aside some of the non-edible cake decorations for us to bring home. (how thoughtful!!) The food...ah...the food. Wow. Everyone who dined with us had the same opinion. My father even went as far as to say the steak he ordered was the BEST HE EVER HAD...ever! The ambiance was romantic and fun, the drinks were poured perfectly. I can not say enough about this place! I will absolutely return here everytime we are in Vegas - possibly even more than once per visit! It really was that spectacular. Thank you for making our special day even more amazing, cannot wait to return!
HORRIBLE Customer Service.
Food might have been good, but was too distracted by the horrible service! Complained to the manager, Justin Thompson, who laughed when we told him that the wrong food was brought out to us and that our drinks had been wrong as well and that we had been charged for changing the drinks. He found the bad service "funny" apparently. Told him we would never return, and again - laughter! Thinks it's funny to lose a customer!
My recommendation: Vegas has so many wonderful restaurants that you shouldn't waste your time going to this one! Go to one where customer service and satisfaction mean something! The Bootlegger just doesn't care!
best manicotti and red sauce. This was the best manicotti I have had anywhere......and the red sauce was really fresh tasting......excellent....the red wines by the glass were really good too.....a lovely old school family restaurant with atttentive service.....whenever I go to Vegas I go there. Great for birthday celebrations especially in August.
Best restaurant in Vegas, by far!!!. Everything was excellent. Definately the best meal both my husband and I have had in a long time. It was a Friday night and we had about a 10-15 minute wait (not bad). The waiter was very knowledgable, very friendly and came by frequently to see if we needed anything. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was sooooo tasty. Overall, it is the best restaurant I have been to in Las Vegas.
Owner was Rude.
I used to eat here many times over the years and one time a
chicken dish I had ordered many times didn't taste right, I told
the waitress but then "Loraine Hunt" would not allow me to order anything else saying her mother was the cook and that
she would do nothing about it. I had exchanged words because all I wanted was something different or it to be taken
off the check. She was so rude and we never went back. We
paid the check which we really should have deducted the one meal but didn't.
ok for a late meal. not the greatest place for italian food, it is open 24/7 thats a plus, the food was not horrible, but i would not say it was good, the sevice was a bit out of it, had to ask over and over for my drink,it's cheep, the food comes out fast and not the worst italian food, would i go there for a meal at 8:00 pm, probably not, but at 3:30 am it's not so bad
Simple, Italian favorites are served at this cozy, family-owned restaurant..
In Short
Business types, families and couples enjoy meals in a low-lit dining room with a dark wood U-shaped bar and wood wall paneling. Black-and-white photographs adorn the walls and tell the stories of those involved in the restaurant, past and present. The menu is vast with pastas, salads, sandwiches, pizza and calzones. But regulars often order the simple spaghetti and meatballs. All entrees are served in large portions and made using generations-old recipes.
mel g. Best meatballs and sauce in town, I would recommend this place to anyone. Very affordable for families. Also try and guess the names of some of the pictures on the walls.
Nice, use to impress. The place was very nice. And the atmosphere was romantic but not too romantic. But also it had a very elegant feel to it. My gripe is that everything was over priced. Bottles of wine for $20 that sale in stores for 7 or $9. Steaks for $30 not sure it was worth it. But the atmosphere makes up for it. They also have live wonderful music everynight.
