In Short
A chic, sleek boutique, it's not. But those willing to look carefully will likely find a big-time bargain. The staff is helpful and knows the merchandise but doesn't provide extensive one-on-one attention or advice. Stores (particularly on weekends) can be swamped with brides-to-be. David's specializes in beaded satin A-lines and simple lace sheaths that just hit the $500 mark. Most labels are tasteful but of medium-quality: Gloria Vanderbilt, Lady Eleanor, Oleg Cassini and the likes.

I walked into David's Bridal without an appointment on a Saturday and had to wait about 30 minutes before a consultant was available to help. The poor girl at the front desk had to page 3 different associates before someone finally came to greet me. One consultant starting pulling dresses for me while another apologized for my having to wait so long - they were so nice! My consultant ended up being Noni S. and she was wonderful. I told her I only had about 45 minutes to shop so she made the most of the time I was there and I ended up purchasing/ordering my dress that day. The only downside to buying at David's Bridal is that the consultants will try to talk you into purchasing shoes, undergarments, accessories etc. and if you're not interested you need to be straightforward and tell your consultant you just want to purchase a dress. I recommend knowing what dresses you want to see before you go into David's Bridal as it cuts down on the wait time and the hassle of looking through 100's of dresses and stressing yourself out.

I had hopes a fun light hearted wedding ya know? I though well Davids Bridal seems affordable and still nice..I went in 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time, where I was greeted by a smiling woman..well they didn't have my last name right in there appointment book, which was no big deal she took my name said she's pull up my registry and for me and the group I was with to look around and see if there was anything I liked, let the know well we did and it being my first wedding we I was unsure of the sizes wedding dresses ran in so I took one I liked off the STANDS and asked for some assistance just then my sister came and said someone just yelled at us for taking dresses down from the STANDS even though they were in bags and still on hangers I was like oh no..well just then a very rude power HUNGRY sales woman came around apparently she had ran and got her co-worker and they were looking at us as if we were going to run out of the store with the dress I immediatly began apologizing explaining the woman at the door told us to look and we truly didn't know she said well she's new so she doesn't know anything! I was thinking well go talk to your employees not your customers whose supposed to spend alot of extra money finding the dress of her dreams!.well we were pretty much scolded like children, I felt like leaving immediatley but I had driven to Nevada from Utah and don't know my way around vegas very well...my group sat on the couches it was now 20 minutes past my appointment time..and finally a different woman asked if we needed help I informed her about what had happened she did apologize nothing was ever said to the other rude sales person and they got me in a dressing room, the dresses were OK I ended up trying on two and just getting the best of the two I felt frazzled and disrespected I didn't really want to give this business my money and I know my

My friend came to vegas for a few days and her boyfriend surprised her by asking her to get married. We tried to go to david's bridal since they were having a $99 sale and since everything was so last minute we just wanted something quick and cheap but we were told we had to have an appointment and we couldn't even go in and look aroung without an appointment. This is vegas and people get married here at the drop of a hat so they should think about changing there policy about this appointment thing
