In Short – Sitting 11 stories above the strip is a dining experience like no other. The restaurant's decor is modern with art-deco flair. Intimate and romantic, the dining room is upstaged only by the fantastic views of the Las Vegas Strip's glittering lights. World-renowned Chef J. Joho updates a French classic menu that highlights his innate creativity: dramatic, grand seafood platters, tournedos of beef filet with foie gras and truffle sauce, and ambrosial banana souffle.

Editor's Tips

Where to Sit:
The tables for two are noted to be the best seats in the house for a romantic evening. Reserve your table early for special occasions like the Fourth of July, as this is one of the best views in town for the Strip's annual fireworks extravaganza.

Exceeds the Hype

by MarkGriswold at Citysearch

Before going there I was more than a bit suspicious. I mean really, a restaurant in a replica of the Eiffel Tower. How good could it really be, especially when the restaurant at the REAL Eiffel Tower has bad food and horrible service. But after sitting down to eat I was impressed. The menu options were great. The prices weren't excessive and the wine list was amazing. It was nice, too, that they had wine by the glass list that changed nightly and included some of their best wines; perfect for those of us who might not want to drop $300 on a bottle of wine (or $19,000, the most expensive bottle!). The food tasted great from salad to souffle and the service was also top notch. They also had a live piano player and chanteuse that sounded good. The only down side was the "professional" picture they took of us, which didn't turn out well. Even that, though, they didn't charge us for when they saw that it didn't turn out.

  • Pros: Great View, Great Food, Great Service
  • Cons: Not cheap, but still a great value

Food was fine. Everything else was awful.

The place was so loud I had to shout to be heard by my dinner companions. There was the woman in the sequined hot pants walking around taking pictures of everyone, but since all the tables face forward you got the full effect of every flash bulb right in your face. The dress code wasn't enforced. Nothing like paying $450 for dinner for three and having to look at some hairy guy in a tank top.

The wine prices were beyond obscene. Hundreds of bottles and only a few for less than $100, most over $200. The sommelier asked if I had any questions and I said yes, only one: Have you no shame?

I took my wife and my son there for our 25th wedding anniversary. I made reservations well in advance and told them what it was we were celebrating. We were given one of the worst tables in the place (it was rickety and wobbled) and there was no recognition from the staff.

The food was wonderful. It showed imagination and was artfully presented. The staff, however, didn't know how to serve it. We ordered wine by the glass, but the wines were delivered well after the food. We had our dishes a full ten minutes before the wine showed up, appetizers and entrees alike.

My wife and son ordered souffles for dessert, which had to be ordered in advance. I did not, so the staff just assumed I did not want dessert. The souffles were on the table by the time I finally got someone's attention and was given the dessert menu. My wife and son finished their souffles before my dessert arrived. In keeping with the theme the dessert wine arrived after my dessert did, but at least I got to enjoy some of it with my dessert. My son's dessert wine didn't arrive until after he had finished his souffle.

It's obvious management is trying to maximize profit potential at the expense of guest comfort. Tables are jammed in everywhere making it loud and uncomfortable. But why not? Most everyone there is a tourist and will never be back. I am a local, however, and I won't ever be back, either.

  • Pros: View, food
  • Cons: Everything else. Service, ambience, noise, prices, kids running around, etc...

Fantastic food, outstanding service, so-so champagne

by acsmith67 at Citysearch

The food here was extraordinary! I love game foods, and found rabbit on the menu so ordered that. It was lovely! We noticed an older woman struggling to read the menu at a table next to us and the waiter came to her with a tray of 5 different sets of reading glasses!! Can you believe that?! One drawback: I love champagne and they only offer three by the glass: One at $12, one at $21, and one at $29. I ordered the $12 glass from Arizona which was awful so I sent it back, then ordered the $29 glass from France which was a little better, but still not clean and light and dry, as I prefer. This place still gets 4 stars from me -- it's great.

  • Pros: View of Bellagio fountains if you sit on the glass, great service
  • Cons: Oddly, below-par champagne by the glass

Wondeful dining exp., great food and awesom view!!!

by kayla09 at Citysearch

I was there with my husband and our friend for lunch on our last day in Vegas! As we came out of the elevator, I was amazed by the view, it was incredible! As we sat down and got our drinks, we sampled cheese puffs and parmesean flan from the chef which was divine. I wound up ordering a checkerboard finger sandwiches, my husband got parmesean crusted chix pallaird with a lobster bisque and our friend ordered an oceanside seafood salad. All of our entrees were delicious!!! They had generous portions and my dish was creative, tasty and simply amazing! It's a bit pricey, but for the succulent food, glorious view and the senusal ambiance, it was definately worth it. I can't wait to go back!!!
