NO WAY is this resort better than ANY of the Cottonwood canyon resorts. people who post that this is the best don't know much about skiing. i have skiied all my life. and as i have said before, if you care at all about snow or killer terrain, you'll go to the cottonwood canyons. sure, every resort has some tough stuff, but nothing at ANY PC resort is anything that'll make you wet your pants. now, if you go off piste, you'll find something. but inside the boundaries, it sucks here. no way on earth is the canyons better than the bird or solitude. no way. too pricey too.

Cons: snow sucks, snow sucks, snow sucks

We went to The Canyons for the 1st time a year ago and we are about to go again for the 4th time! We have never had such an easy ski experience as you will have staying at the Grand Summit Lodge! 5 star accom. within 30 feet of the ski school and gondola! Ski instuctors were great, they had my 8 year old skiing moguls by her 5th day of lessons! No lines, tons of terrain, great grooming, friendly service, great accomodations! What more could you ask for!

Pros: Great Skiing!, No lines, Great accomodations

Cons: expensive
