Tourist Trap, avoid this place. Not a shadow of the great place it once was.

Only video poker in Nevada that doesn't comp drinks.

Very tight video poker too.

Bar menu is simply Smart and Final nuke and serve school cafeteria fare.

Expensive restaurant menu is close to the same with lot's and lot's of fancy garnish as camouflage.

Hustlers with scams will confront you in the parking lot, prostitutes-a-plenty sporting loathsome diseases in the Fireside lounge.

Greedy tourist trap and the operators want it that way.

Been going since 1990! Always a fave w/anyone I take there. I've been to all the fancy places and seen everything. This is still one of my faves and I always bring people here. Well rounded positive experience every time.

Great atmosphere, great food. This is one of the coolest places in Las Vegas. Totally old school and FUN! The gyros totally rock.

Best of old vegas still on strip. Go with a really kiss-able friend! Then it's perfect. Tacky old Vegas but very very cool, in a hot sorta way. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, happens here at The Peppermill!

Bring your Friends - From Here or There. With all of the glitzy, neon-covered, vegas eateries to choose from in 'Fabulous Las Vegas', this is by far my favorite. I've brought everyone who has visited me to eat here - breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all have loved it. The music is always classic; Frank Sinatra to The Supremes to Satchmo, and played at the perfect volume. The restaurant features beautiful foliage throughout and accentuated by soft colored lighting and neon. The food is always satisfying, tasty, and prepared properly. I personally recommend 'The Conquest' and any omelet on the menu (especially the Mediterranean)...and given the portion size, i've always got some leftover goodness to take home for the hangover. Speaking of hangovers, the Fireside Lounge is a perfect place for low-key relaxation and libations. You will find the drinks are mixed and served properly; always with a little extra goodness...the experienced and attentive bar staff know their tasty liquor drinks. The fire pits reflecting off the water pools are soothing amidst the muted lighting and music, and further complemented by the beautiful cocktail waitresses in their long, sleek black dresses. The Peppermill does Vegas, it's residents, and it's visitors proud...you should go :)

This '70s lounge is a timeless pleasure dome for cozy couples.. In Short
Yes, there's a place where it's still 1974--where, for a few carefree hours, one can sink back into a plush booth next to a bubbling pool of fire; where cocktail waitresses in full-length gowns bring you mai tais and zombies while you munch on salted almonds and bask in the hazy, blue- and red-tinged glow. That place is Peppermill's Fireside Lounge, where the vast couches promote a high level of intimacy for a public space.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!. This is one of the Las Vegas strip's best kept secrets. I called a week prior and made a reservation in the lounge... (which they said they dont normally do) They reserved the entire back side of the lounge for me and my party, which was for my husbands birthday party. A great time was had by all, and everyone commented on what a cool place the Peppermill was. Check it out... you will love it.

A great place to get engaged!. My husband proposed to me at the Peppermill's Fireside Lounge on 1/2/04 and was quite the sneaky one about doing so. He corraled one of the oh-so-friendly cocktail waitresses into helping with the proposal by hand-slipping her my engagement ring and placing it in my champagne flute, which I didn't even notice at first. When they BOTH encouraged me to look a little further down in the glass, my husband got down on bended knee and did the dirty deed, much to the delight of the other patrons as we received applause and best wishes afterward! We truly love patronizing this diamond-in-the-rough lounge and continue to recommend it to friends, family and out-of-towners alike!
