Editorial Review for Mr. Lucky's 24/7 Cafe at the Hard Rock – by John Curtas

In Short
At all hours, Las Vegas' youngest and coolest crowd is holding court at this diner. The hip attitude attracts them, and the classy un-coffee-shop-like food keeps them there. Some of the specials are as good as anything at Mortoni's--the Hard Rock's more formal dining room--and at half the price. Strong menu points are given to the excellent sandwiches, burgers and classic American-diner dishes. Pizzas like the barbecue chicken and the plentiful pastas are also strong.

Insider Tips

Save Money

The diner serves a $8.95 Gambler's Special--steak, shrimp, salad, and broccoli or a potato. It's not on the menu, so ask your server about it.

My husband and I visited Vegas during Easter Week 2008. Mr. Lucky's was the best place we ate at for breakfast. While our waitress was a tad snotty, our food was served hot and it was delicious. I would recommend the french toast. My husband had a pancake the size of the plate, 1/4 waffle and the cinnamon bun french toast (special). He said it was to die for. He couldn't finish it all but really enjoyed the CB French Toast. If you are looking for breakfast any time of the day while in Vegas, Mr. Lucky's is THE PLACE TO EAT.

Pros: Breakfast all day long!

Cons: Far Away from our Hotel
