In Short – At all hours, Las Vegas' youngest and coolest crowd is holding court at this diner. The hip attitude attracts them, and the classy un-coffee-shop-like food keeps them there. Some of the specials are as good as anything at Mortoni's--the Hard Rock's more formal dining room--and at half the price. Strong menu points are given to the excellent sandwiches, burgers and classic American-diner dishes. Pizzas like the barbecue chicken and the plentiful pastas are also strong.
Editor's Tips
- Save Money:
- The diner serves a $8.95 Gambler's Special--steak, shrimp, salad, and broccoli or a potato. It's not on the menu, so ask your server about it.
- The Extras:
- Open during holidays.
Shrimp and Steak special not so special
by litlz84 at Citysearch
The turkey burger on a wheat bun was okay but as for the shrimp and steak special, the steak was burnt to a crisp, no garlic in the bland blob of mashed potatoes, and no freakin roll! The service was sub par, it didn't seem like any of the waiters even wanted to be there, like they all really hated there jobs. It made for a kind of depressing atmosphere. Plus, our waiter dropped the neighboring booth's patron's credit card on the floor without even noticing! I had to pick it up and give it to them. It was over-priced, mediocre food.
- Pros: turkey burger not bad
- Cons: bad service, bad steak

I am a big guy and me and my girl could not finish our food. I can't wait to go back.
- Pros: good price for Vegas near the strip
- Cons: can't think of any

Best Breakfast All Day Long
by morani123 at Citysearch
My husband and I visited Vegas during Easter Week 2008. Mr. Lucky's was the best place we ate at for breakfast. While our waitress was a tad snotty, our food was served hot and it was delicious. I would recommend the french toast. My husband had a pancake the size of the plate, 1/4 waffle and the cinnamon bun french toast (special). He said it was to die for. He couldn't finish it all but really enjoyed the CB French Toast. If you are looking for breakfast any time of the day while in Vegas, Mr. Lucky's is THE PLACE TO EAT.
- Pros: Breakfast all day long!
- Cons: Far Away from our Hotel
i love this place
