Adjacent to the sports book, this upscale bar provides comfy leather booths, each with its own TV and high-chair seating. Framed artistic photos of sports stars hang on the walls, lit by small spotlights. High-definition projectors and six plasma screens broadcast a variety of sporting events so that fans don't miss a beat. If the game doesn't capture patrons' attention, there's always a pool table that can be reserved.

Smaller but in this case, that's good.. I expected this casino to be a haven for 18 year old black tee shirt motor head rockers but was pleasantly surprised. Although there is a younger crowd here, it doesn't dumb down the action- it just informalizes it a bit. The Sports Bar is more intimate than other sports book venues and although the bartender on the night I went was indeed too green (dropped glasses, no social skills), the patrons were saavy locals and travelers who were inclined to conversation, given the small scale of the bar. Thanks in part to their shared wisdom and experience, I cashed in on the Derby so this place holds a special place in my wallet- I mean, my heart....Attention management- you have some potential to build here if you can get strong staff behind the bar.
