Watch the water show from the street and save yourself – I was a groomsman in a wedding party having drinks on the patio. I ordered my first Martini of the evening from the waitress. She said I'm not your waitress and I should speak with my waitress. I placed an order with another waitress in my area, again, she is not my waitress. Eventually I found my waitress. She stated the tab the father of the bride opened was now closed. I told her I am still interested in my martini and gave her my credit card. My wife later added a drink to the order. An hour goes by and we close our 2 drink tab. It has every tab of every person left of center sitting on the balcony. Apparently the Bellagio will not open tabs for individuals in a group they run 1 tab for the entire group. That group happened to be over a third of the terrace. It took a harassing waitress, management and the hotel's muscle to come to an agreement that they're "policy" is garbage and by ordering a cocktail for myself and my wife I was in no way agreeing to pay for the tabs on the balcony. What an awful end to a beautiful day.
Best lounge in Las Vegas – We never miss an opportunity to spend a night at the Fontana lounge. The beautiful decor, comfortable seating, exceptional bands and overall atmosphere are far and away the best in Las Vegas. We started going when Jimmy Hopper ruled the room, but he has moved on and in his place are Dian Diaz as well as a number fantastic groups.
Intimate bar overlooking the fountains at Bellagio and featuring fantastic food, great wine, and excellent bands – We?ve been coming to the Fontana Bar for years and everyone we?ve brought along has loved it. It?s one of the best insider secrets of Las Vegas ? fantastic food, great wine, and excellent bands ? besides featuring the very best view of the fountains at Bellagio. One would think that the bar could skimp on the food and the music just because it is the ideal location to view the fountains, but the Bellagio touch is everywhere to be seen? and tasted. I once hosted a bridal shower cocktail hour here and for $200 ten of us had wonderful appetizers and cocktails. On three other visits we were able to go out on the terrace (sometimes it is booked for private parties) and enjoy the appetizers and cocktails right beside the fountains. It?s such a wonderful experience!
Good times – We had a surprisingly great time here. The atomosphere is really nice, and the drinks were good. Overall nice place to hang out.
Old Folks Home – This place is cool if you are a senior citizen - no offense, but it's for the older set. The cover bands are actually funny in a kitchy kind of way.
WOW WHAT A BLAST! – Stop by and check out Diane Diaz this is the best little secret in Vegas baby. This band Rocks all night! The service is wonderful, I never wanted or needed anything. Music for dancing Fantasic! Great dance floor. Super view of the water show. No cover what more can I say this one is a winner!!! Lots of fun people to party with.
This dark and cozy lounge is a throwback to the classy, adult Vegas lounge scene. – In Short
Despite the velvet rope and elegantly attired hostesses, the bar's early hours are filled with the shorts-in-any-season crowd. Once the sun sets, the Fontana emerges as a spacious, yet intimate, upscale lounge. Classic cocktailing becomes a high art here. Beauties like the sidecar and the metropolitan (sweetened with rock-candy syrup) are available. Significantly tasty options include the fresh peach Bellini and the Casino cocktail, a gin martini sweetened with various fruit liqueurs.
Las Vegas Lounge – Typical L.V. lounge with live entertainment, service is good, that's what you'd expect at Bellagio, and drinks are stiff. In the summertime go to their patio - you'll have best seats to view fountains.
Romancing and Dancing – Absolutley the most romantic date place!
Dark, intimate, the view of the fountains, the music of Jimmy Hopper... If you weren't in love when you came in you will be before you leave.
Our fav drinks? The Bellagio Cocktail and the Cable Car!!
GO here for a great night – One place that you have to see is the Bellagio, and also the Fontana lounge. Sit outside on the patio, and you will have the perfect place to sip a strong drink and watch the fountains perform. The Music and atmosphere are unbeatable. More beautiful people hang out here than anywhere else on the strip, and after the fountains close, you can go to one of the hotel's great restaurants, or to the best new club in Vegas, Light. The perfect place to begin an upscale Vegas evening!
