What People Are Saying About Fontana Bar & Lounge

In Short – Despite the velvet rope and elegantly attired hostesses, the bar's early hours are filled with the shorts-in-any-season crowd. Once the sun sets, the Fontana emerges as a spacious, yet intimate, upscale lounge. Classic cocktailing becomes a high art here. Beauties like the sidecar and the metropolitan (sweetened with rock-candy syrup) are available. Significantly tasty options include the fresh peach Bellini and the Casino cocktail, a gin martini sweetened with various fruit liqueurs.
Watch the water show from the street and save yourself

I was a groomsman in a wedding party having drinks on the patio. I ordered my first Martini of the evening from the waitress. She said I'm not your waitress and I should speak with my waitress. I placed an order with another waitress in my area, again, she is not my waitress. Eventually I found my waitress. She stated the tab the father of the bride opened was now closed. I told her I am still interested in my martini and gave her my credit card. My wife later added a drink to the order. An hour goes by and we close our 2 drink tab. It has every tab of every person left of center sitting on the balcony. Apparently the Bellagio will not open tabs for individuals in a group they run 1 tab for the entire group. That group happened to be over a third of the terrace. It took a harassing waitress, management and the hotel's muscle to come to an agreement that they're "policy" is garbage and by ordering a cocktail for myself and my wife I was in no way agreeing to pay for the tabs on the balcony. What an awful end to a beautiful day.
- Pros: Be prepared to pick up the tab for the entire bar if you step on the balcony
- Cons: Be prepared to pick up the tab for the entire bar if you step on the balcony
Best lounge in Las Vegas

We never miss an opportunity to spend a night at the Fontana lounge. The beautiful decor, comfortable seating, exceptional bands and overall atmosphere are far and away the best in Las Vegas. We started going when Jimmy Hopper ruled the room, but he has moved on and in his place are Dian Diaz as well as a number fantastic groups.
- Pros: Beautiful lounge, excellent entertainment
- Cons: Drink prices high
Intimate bar overlooking the fountains at Bellagio and featuring fantastic food, great wine, and excellent bands

We?ve been coming to the Fontana Bar for years and everyone we?ve brought along has loved it. It?s one of the best insider secrets of Las Vegas ? fantastic food, great wine, and excellent bands ? besides featuring the very best view of the fountains at Bellagio. One would think that the bar could skimp on the food and the music just because it is the ideal location to view the fountains, but the Bellagio touch is everywhere to be seen? and tasted. I once hosted a bridal shower cocktail hour here and for $200 ten of us had wonderful appetizers and cocktails. On three other visits we were able to go out on the terrace (sometimes it is booked for private parties) and enjoy the appetizers and cocktails right beside the fountains. It?s such a wonderful experience!
