off the beaten path. A bit off the strip, go for the cranberry cider, stay for the food. A local hang out that serves food very late, its worth a short ride over.
Shepherds Pie and Bagpipes. Three of us for dinner. Seating can be uncomfortable in dining room. It can be very loud on Friday after five and the addition of the bagpipes blaring away doesn't help conversation even if it does add to the atmosphere. The fish and chips were great. The shepherds pie was tasty. The only place I've found for a while that has Stilton cheese. Be patient. Our waiter ran his butt off. He was nice, but had very little time for pleasantries. I felt guilty asking him a question about the food. They need more help.
EVERYTHING is Great...Except. The food is great and the selection of beers wonderful. If it is service you're after, go somewhere else. I would order two drinks at a time otherwise you will wait...and wait....and wait! The service is so poor it takes away from all the other great things about the bar.
#1 Server. Crown and Anchor is by far a great place to enjoy many great beers and the best fish and chips!! When going to this establishment ask for the waitress, EMILY!!!! Best waitress by far in Las Vegas!!! Thank you for the enjoyable time. CHEERS!!!!
