not a great place to be in

This is the most uncomfortable place I've ever been to. You would have to be white or be with a white person to get good service around here.

I asked for a bacon butty (not on the menu) with brown sauce, and I got a pretty decent approximation. It should have been on a hard roll, but they didn't have any. Still, the bacon, proper English bacon, is the most important bit, so I forgave the hamburger bun (closest thing they had) and just enjoyed it. They do have curry chips and chip buttys on the menu, as well as a proper English breakfast. I don't know about the beer/ale selection, because I'm just not much of a drinker. There was football on telly when I visited. Service was good, prices are good, and it wasn't too cold inside. I don't like more than a 25 degree difference between outside and inside, even if that means 80 degrees inside because it's scorching hot outside.
